I have been working as a therapist for over 30 years and I love what I do. While I've employed numerous treatment modalities over the years, I'm currently focused on the Internal Family Systems model (IFS). I see therapy as a collaborative process where you can explore your behavior, beliefs, and feelings about yourself and the challenges in your life without judgement or criticism. Therapy is a place to challenge negative and anxious thoughts that might be controlling you. In therapy you can get to know what drives your old patterns and behaviors, which allows them to change and transform in the present.
I'm here to support your emotional growth and resilience. IFS provides a compassionate approach to healing our internal world, and that translates into changes in our thoughts, feelings and beliefs in our daily life. I have worked extensively with mood issues, depression and anxiety, as well as grief, life transitions, and codependency.
