We love clients that are ready to work and build a strong therapeutic relationship! Therapy can be truly life changing, but it isn't always easy. Our therapists bring their A-game to every session, with full presence, warmth, and clinical processing abilities. (Also, we are all pretty funny and enjoy humor in sessions :) Our clients are generally working to heal and/or grow, and they build deep, long-lasting relationships with their therapist. We are not the practice to get you in and out, a constant cycle of new therapists and new clients. We choose clients based on best fit and believe slow and steady brings the greatest result.
We believe the field of psychology has a responsibility to further the progress made with issues of social equity and diversity inclusion, and we work to directly engage with the social forces that impact our clients. Additionally, we have therapists trained in EMDR and substance abuse counseling, as well as speciality areas within LGBTQIA communities.
