Nate Wilson-Traisman, MS, MFTI, Marriage & Family Therapist Intern in Portland
I believe people possess the tools and resources to solve their own problems. However, sometimes those tools and resources can be difficult to identify, particularly when problems are at their worst. My strengths-based approach draws on clients' resources and previous successes to help identify possible solutions. As a non-directive therapist, I will collaborate with you to determine the focus of your therapy. While I bring an expertise to my work, I do not view myself as an expert on your problems. I believe you are the expert on your own life.
I provide individual therapy, relationship counseling for couples, and family therapy. I have significant experience providing therapy to adolescent males. I welcome anyone interested in working with me to set up an initial appointment, or a free consultation. Together, we can determine if I am the right therapist for you.
My previous experiences, as a therapist and coach, have given me exposure to the unique challenges of adolescence. In particular, I enjoy working with male adolescents, as I have ample experience with this age group.
