My clients are young and older adults, women and men that are highly motivated to grow, learn and change. In therapy we focus on healing, recognizing strengths, maximizing new opportunities and moving powerfully into healthy relationships and life decisions. In coaching we focus on bold visioning, realizing a dream or endeavor, expanding and optimizing meaning, purpose and/or fulfillment in life. Emphasis is always on empowerment, strength based choices, bringing your whole self to bear, producing lasting lifestyle change and helping you clear away what's holding you back so you can courageously choose to thrive.
I offer individualized interventions drawing on a range of researched approaches incorporating what we know about insight, motivation, resilience, how our thoughts and attitudes direct us, reinforcing behavior change and maintenance, mind-body-spirit coherence, connection, attention to internal strengths, meaning, spirituality, mindfulness and compassion.
I Trained at UNC-Chapel Hill, Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and the Harvard Community Health Plan. My mission is to promote positive change, to inspire others to be empowered and to choose to prosper, and to provide this service with compassion, integrity and excellence.
