Heidi Quinlan, LPC, LISAC, Counselor in Mesa
I am a Licensed Therapist who specializes in infant/early childhood mental health, parent/child relationships, child/adolescent challenges, court-involved families, child/adult trauma recovery, postpartum and women's issues, and addictions. My focus is on the unique factors that make up each individual and family. Helping individuals successfully navigate each developmental stage of life is the focus of my practice. I use, EMDR, Cognitive Behavior therapy, sand tray therapy, play therapy, attachment therapies, Theraplay, PCIT, DBT/Mindfulness and more in my practice.
Whether you or your child(ren) need support, assistance with parenting/relationships, are hurting, need trauma healing, experiencing anxiety/depression or just stressed/overwhelmed, we can develop a therapeutic partnership to achieve the goals you and/or your family identify.
How we interact within family and close relationships, how we heal from trauma or difficult/stressful experiences, how we manage conflict, and how we perceive ourselves develops early in life. Neurobiology research has provided the field of psychotherapy with rich evidence of the effective healing powers of therapy.
