Katie Patrick Christides, MSW, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Memphis
Do you feel nervous or worried all the time? Do you often wonder whether or not your on the right path and dwell frequently on things out of your control? Or are you a parent that is worried about your teen? As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with teens and young adults to assist them in creating strategies that help them gain confidence in their evolving identities and move towards a successful independent adult life.
My professional experience includes working with children, teens, and families going through the adoption process, in the foster care system, as well as in the school system. My therapeutic specialties include treating symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment and adoption related issues.
In my practice I use a variety of treatment approaches to address negative symptoms, break away from old patterns, and create lasting changes. I also enjoy teaching coping and relaxation skills that allow for reduced stress, increased awareness, and restored balance.
