In general, I am a warm and outgoing person whose interest in helping you to move forward through problematic areas in your life is motivated by your own desire to do so. Together, we can objectively explore the issues which impede progress in the direction in which you would like to see improvement and change. My approach is to re-examine and re-frame these areas in more positive and useful paradigms which will help you to move forward and realistically overcome obstacles which are in the way to leading a more enriched life
I work with individual, couple and family systems, using a combination of psychodynamically oriented therapy, strategic planning and cognitive behavioral techniques to help effect change in the areas in which these "systems" seem to become stuck.
I have been in practice for over 40 years, specializing in individuals, couples and families. My experiences over this period have included settings as diverse as residential treatment centers, outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient psychiatric units as well as private practice. The focus is to effect change in a warm and supportive environment.
