I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and life coach practicing in Elk Rapids, MI. I was previously practicing in Bloomfield Hills Mi for 6 years before moving to the Traverse City area in 2019. I have experience as an Infant Mental Health Specialist, Child and Adolescent Therapist and Family Therapist. I received my BA from University of Arkansas in Social Work and Criminal Justice and a MSW from University of Michigan in Therapeutic Practice and Community Organizing. I enjoy working with all individuals to process and explore the concerns that may prohibit them from reaching their potential and living life to its fullest.
I have been in practice for the last 16 years and have assisted individuals within a wide range of experiences. In addition to office sessions, I offer Walk & Talk sessions where we are able to get outdoors and appreciate the natural elements of Elk Rapids while we explore the thoughts and concerns that have brought someone for support.
I am dedicated to assisting individuals and families in opening communication and processing the self as well as complex relationships in order to gain the maximum benefit from the therapeutic experience. I have experience in play therapy, art therapy, attachment theory and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
