Robert Mount, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Scottsdale
In my 30 years of practice I've encountered a variety of problems as presented by both adolescents and their families. Perhaps you can relate to some of the following: "I'm worried about my daughter, we're getting a divorce and am afraid she may be cutting again." "We don't ask for much, maybe a little cooperation, all we get is disrespect." "I've seen four or five therapist since I was a kid, how will this be any different?" "Our son has always been anxious, he's agreed to at least talk to someone about some strategies."
I have developed a number of strategies to help support adolescents and families. I provide family therapy to improve parenting skills or assist communication and ease difficult dynamics. I have been told I have the "gift of connection" and use individual therapy to promote understanding, insight, and increase self awareness.
I am also passionate about couples work and men's issues. Prior to moving to Arizona, I attended a men's weekend and followed up with my own personal growth group for seven years. I also have had the privilege of helping numerous couples sort out conflicts and maintain their relationship.
