I provide cognitive-behavioral psycho-therapy to older adolescents and adults in Westchester and NYC. Since November of 2021 my clients have the option of in person or tele-therapy sessions. Acceptance and Commitment. Therapy, (ACT) is my approach to behavioral health. ACT is evidence based, highly effective and personalized to fit your values and problem areas. I have been treating adults and older adolescents for depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, panic, anger, relationship conflict, divorce, relationship conflicts, infidelity, insomnia, jealousy and complicated grief with great success for almost 30 years.
My approach is supportive and psycho-educational. I offer strategies to help you effectively address your personal pain.and suffering. Together, we clarify who you want to be, what direction you want to move in. Throughout, clients learn to non-judgmentally connect to the present while gaining perspective on the past/future with more kindness and courage.
