I assist clients challenged by a wide range of mental health issues. I understand the many demands that military members and their families face and use strength-based approaches to assist clients in finding workable solutions to their problems. All sessions are conducted using secure web based teletherapy platforms.
I provide general counseling and specialized counseling services to survivors negotiating traumatic brain injury (TBI). I rely on current research and experience gained as a National Institute of Disability Rehabilitation Research Post Doctoral Fellow when working with those adapting to TBI.
I've conducted research on the usefulness of promoting resilience as a means of enhancing recovery and adjustment to TBI. Results have been published in professional journals and presented at international to local audiences. I am a certificated Airline Transport Pilot and understand the challenges faced by aviation professionals.
