Due to COVID-19 and societal tension, we are experiencing increased anxiety & depression. As a licensed clinical psychologist with the NY State Office of Mental Health, I am trained in providing therapy to help cope with feelings that accompany such stressful times. I work with individuals, couples, families & adolescents. We can find solutions that will improve your quality of life & your relationships, as you adapt to a new normal or fix ongoing issues. Fees are affordable, as I do not take insurance. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with those who have intellectual challenges, (like autism), &/or their families.
I provide compassionate, non-judgmental, emotionally and cognitively focused therapy. I work with you, your partner and/or family to reach new strengths. Being heard and understood is vital. Gentle guidance toward new action is important. Therapy ultimately results in lasting positive changes, gaining understanding, coping skills, stability and acceptance.
I am here for you. My private practice is exclusively on weeknights via teletherapy. I also do psychological evaluations for those who are seeking bariatric weight loss surgery.
