People of all ages can be helped by speaking to a professional about challenges in daily life. The value of the services you receive is related to the effectiveness of the services in meeting your goals. I am committed to providing effective services by maintaining a smaller number of clients, increasing the amount of time I am able to devote to each couple, family, or individual I work with. If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or are just ready to move in a different direction, I look forward to working with you.
My approach tends to be cognitive-behavioral and family systems oriented. At times I may draw on narrative, solution focused and other integrative approaches. I like Gottman Method Couple's Therapy and am a Prepare/Enrich certified facilitator.
I work with trauma and post traumatic stress treatments utilizing CPT and EMDR. I have experience in working with public safety and military personnel and their families. I subscribe to the medical family therapy model, an approach that operates in collaboration with clients, families, health care professionals, and community groups.
