Marilyn Ashley, MA, MFTI, Marriage & Family Therapist Intern in Hermosa Beach
It can be so easy to fall into routines of going through the motions of everyday life, feeling as if you're "just surviving." Working so hard on who you think you're supposed to be, instead of being you are meant to be - that can be exhausting! I provide therapy to many people facing similar concerns. My approach is focused on making meaningful changes by uncovering and understanding who you truly are and what moves you! While I have extensive training and am able to help diverse populations, I have a special interest and expertise in working with First Responders and their families.
I work with couples and individuals on issues including loneliness and loss, anxiety, depression and trauma, with a special focus on self-esteem, personal fulfillment, and relationship intimacy. Due to my specialization, I often focus on men's issues, especially with those who might be uncomfortable with the idea of trying therapy.
I offer a free 20 minute consultation to address any specific questions you may have and for us to get a sense if I'm the right therapist for you. I have a flexible schedule that includes evenings and Saturdays and I would consider it an honor to connect with you. Call or email today.
