Lindsay Wortham, MA, LPC, LAC, Counselor in Golden
Through compassion, openness and humor, I work collaboratively with clients to uncover their unique inner brilliance. With a focus on addictive behaviors, I encourage clients to create realistic goals for long term change. Substance abuse, relapse, relationships, self image, anxiety and depression are all topics welcome in session. My passion is in counseling adolescents, adults, individuals and groups. I am also sensitive to the needs and experiences of individuals involved in the criminal justice system. My hope is that my clients find a safe place to explore what is troubling them, and can find stability and resolve despite their struggle.
I use a variety of frameworks including mindfulness, gestalt, transpersonal, and behavioral. From addiction to anxiety and depression, relationship troubles, spirituality, or trauma, I strive to bring forth the healer within my clients. I also have specialty training in addictions, motivational interviewing, CBT, trauma, and mindfulness.
My office is located in a historic building near downtown Golden, CO, and is part of a collaboration of healers and wellness practitioners. Many clients find the space itself to be a part of their healing journey, and I hope you will as well.
