I conduct neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults. For students, families typically seek out these assessments when something is interfering with their child's progress, whether academic, behavioral, or emotional. For adults, clients may need help determining why they are not performing to their potential, or working as efficiently as they would like.
I work with students who may have learning disabilities, attentional challenges, behavioral difficulties, or are experiencing anxiety surrounding their schoolwork.
I have particular experience assessing gifted students who are underperforming in one or more academic areas. Learning disabilities are often over-diagnosed; I work on identifying any underlying cognitive deficits that may be contributing to academic difficulties.
