Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, BCD
As a psychotherapist for over 32 years, I have worked with pre-teens, adolescents, and adults in individual, family and marital therapy. My approach to treatment is informed by psychodynamic and relational perspectives which consider factors of family history, life experiences, personality characteristics and interpersonal relationships that shape and drive our behaviors. Additionally, I recognize the value offered by a holistic perspective (acupuncture, chiropractic, exercise, healthy eating, meditation, yoga, etc.) in managing stress and building strategies for a healthy and fulfilled life.
Any issue that impacts on your life can be discussed in therapy. Loss and bereavement, relationship issues, eating disorders, sexual orientation concerns, anxiety and depression, adjustments and transitions, and marital problems are just some examples.
In an atmosphere of acceptance and mutual respect, therapy can facilitate greater clarity, support change, and lead to increased feelings of empowerment and fulfillment in your life.
