Michelle Wallace, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in New York
As an empathic, interactive psychotherapist, I will help you gain insight and understanding in order to alleviate symptoms, enhance relationships, and manage stressors. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can safely express feelings and concerns, while working towards therapeutic goals. Together we can explore behavioral and relational patterns, and discover effective coping skills/problem-solving strategies that best fit your needs. I work with adults, young adults, and adolescents providing individual, couples, and family therapy. I support clients in addressing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, loneliness, insecurities, grief, professional difficulties, and life transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Psychotherapist. I completed a Post-Degree Certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the American Institute of Psychoanalysis. I also received specialized training in working with adolescents and families, and help with family conflict, communication, behavioral/school problems, social skills, parenting, and divorce.
Seeking therapy shows great strength and a desire to truly make changes in your life, so please contact me via phone or email, to discuss how I can be helpful to you.
