Lindsay Goodlin, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in San Francisco
Most of us set out with great intentions about how we want our lives to progress, and yet we often find ourselves stuck, confused and in a position of self-doubt when our plans fall through. I will work with you to integrate the life you have with the life you want. My approach is non-judgmental and focused on letting go of maladaptive coping behaviors and building up your inherent strengths (yes you have them, even if it may not always feel like it). I provide direct and honest feedback to my clients within a supportive and relational framework.
My background is in treating mood disorders, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and eating disorders in a variety of settings (including medical). I hold a post-masters fellowship diploma from UC Berkeley and I have completed EMDR training. I work from a variety of therapeutic modalities, individualized to your specific needs.
The primary predictor of therapeutic success is the therapeutic relationship. I offer free consultations so you can be sure my style is a good fit for your unique personality and needs. You can read more about me on my website I look forward to hearing from you!
