My name is Nicole McCarthy, LCSW and I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents, families, couples and adults across the life span.
I have worked with youth in residential settings, adults and teens in psychiatric hospitals, medical hospitals, domestic violence shelters and outpatient mental health clinics. In addition, I helped create the positive motherhood transitions group/ program with Kaiser Psychiatric Clinic specializing and treating mom's who struggle with postpartum depression/anxiety.
My specialties are adults and adolescents 11 and up. I work with depression, anxiety, ADHD, academic underachieving, learning problems, anger management, parenting, couples, infertility, and pregnancy loss.
