Are you having trouble with your teenagers? I can help! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and a teen expert. I have 20 years of experience treating adolescents and families. This is my passion! I understand teens and young adults, and have developed successful techniques that help family members better understand each other, and communicate more effectively. I consistently incorporate empathy, humor, and intuitive healing into the treatment process. I have extensive experience treating adolescent peer and behavioral issues, substance abuse, divorce-related issues, trauma, and problems related to body image.
Teens’ and young adults’ needs are different from those of more mature adults. Their brains are still developing, and they are coping with hormonal fluctuations. Relationships with peers mean everything to them. They struggle with identity issues. I know how to get through to them. I understand what their behavior means, though it can be difficult to manage!
I find it gratifying to work with adolescents. They have potential, are still growing, and are capable of learning better ways to communicate with, and relate to others. Having been dedicated to working with teens and families for many years, I have learned how to assist in this process.
