Life is a journey, with bumps and hurdles, twists and turns, secure paths and dark corners. Therapy is a proactive approach to self-care that shines light on the difficult parts of that journey, because when you know where you are going, it's a much easier path to walk. My job is to guide you through a process that will strengthen and build upon your cognitive and emotional strengths and teach you new skills to improve how you experience your everyday life.
I will be your partner during this change process and have created a safe and comfortable space to explore, challenge, feel, heal and grow. There is no such thing as a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. I will tailor treatment to meet the specific needs of each client
After receiving my training at Columbia University I spent several years working with diverse populations at a community health center serving New York and New Jersey. I've been in private practice since 2012 and have received specialized training in working with victims of trauma, Structural Family and play therapy.
