My approach to therapy is straight forward and personable. I see symptoms or life problems as the mind's "wake-up call" signaling the need for change and growth. I enjoy working with people to help maximize their strengths and meet their goals. My thirty years of varied practice experience enable me to understand most problems and work expeditiously to help you solve them. I work together with you to help you understand your symptoms better and to make appropriate changes for symptom relief and personal growth.
I work well with individuals or couples who are experiencing problems with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, stress, relationship problems, phobias or addictions. I use cognitive/behavioral, psychodynamic approaches and family/couples therapy but I'm also comfortable using other approaches to augment these.
I offer evening hours and and am in network with many insurance plans that cover people in the state of California .
