Alison J. Bomba, Psy.D., PsyD, Psychologist in Frederick
I am a licensed psychologist who has been treating children, adolescents, and young adults in private practice since 2007. I provide results-oriented, compassionate care and use ethical, evidence-based practices to effectively treat various psychiatric disorders. I work closely with schools, pediatricians, and other health professionals to provide comprehensive treatment and am also available to conduct classroom observations and attend school meetings as needed to assist parents in advocating for their children's educational needs. My areas of specialization include treatments for anxiety, child and adolescent grief and loss, depression, family and peer relationship difficulties, and trauma.
Having lived in Frederick County for many years, I strive to identify the ever-changing needs of the community. Therefore, in addition to providing direct therapeutic services, I frequently provide informational talks to community groups, parent groups, schools, and religious organizations.
