It takes courage to ask for help, especially from someone you don't know. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and clinical pastoral counselor, I work with individuals, couples and families to resolve common human problems. I believe you will benefit from the clinical competence, experience and maturity gained from over forty years in practice, and will quickly realize I sincerely care about you. When you reach out to me, I will do my best to respond promptly, without your waiting too long for an appointment. Don't be surprised if I personally answer my phone.
Depression, anxiety and exhaustion can be a consequence of unresolved conflict, painful loss, overthinking, worrying, procrastinating, people-pleasing, approval-seeking and care-taking. The focus of counseling is self-care. Collaborating with a seasoned therapist can help you discover more consistent happiness and fulfillment.
I meet with clients by live video telehealth anywhere in the state, six days per week, from 7:00am - 8:30pm. Being home allows me to stay close to my wife of over 40 years who is bed-bound due to complications from late stage multiple sclerosis. The assistance of two professional caregivers frees me to pursue my life's work as a psychotherapist.
