Deepwater Counseling's Groups

It's Okay to Be Me!

This eight-week support group is for boys and girls ages 12-16 who struggle with self-esteem, identity, and acceptance. Teens will come together, encourage one another, and learn skills to help them improve their self-image, accept the differences in others, and create friendships. Each group session will feature discussions, activities, bonding exercises, learning coping skills, and take-home materials. This group is facilitated by Darnell Daniels, MA, LLPC, who specializes in parenting and teens issues. This group will run from April 29, 2017 until June 17, 2017.
