Dr. Liana Gerdov, PsyD, LCPC, Counselor in Hoffman Estates
I focus on helping individuals explore the mind/body connection, utilize tradition psychotherapy along with holistic methods, and create a unique approach with each client. I assist clients in exploring factors that keep them feeling stuck, exhausted and fearful of reaching their full potential. I have significant experience working with anxiety, depression, OCD, substance abuse, and self-esteem issues. I am also a Certified Transformation Meditation Teacher and incorporate mindfulness/meditation in my work.
Counseling is a very enlightening journey. Counseling allows you to overcome obstacles that are placed on your path. It gives you the opportunity to search within, to change old negative patterns for those that are more positive and promote self-growth.
I incorporate traditional therapy with alternative methods such as life coaching, meditation, aromatherapy, nutritional counseling, art therapy and movement therapy in order to shift negative thoughts, perceptions, and make long-lasting changes.
