Cori Rosenthal, MA, LMFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in Los Angeles
Do you struggle with food and your body image? Do you eat when you are stressed, sad, frustrated, excited? Only to feel guilty and ashamed afterward? Do you eat compulsively or binge, feeling as though you have no control and fearing you never will? Has emotional eating and yo-yo dieting become a pattern that seems impossible to break? Asking for help is a courageous act. While my clients may feel out of control with the food, it is rarely about the food.
As your therapist I will collaborate with you at your own pace. Together we will discover the thoughts and emotions driving you to eat and learn new ways of coping. We explore what is underneath the unwanted thoughts, feelings and behavior and begin the healing process.
I specialize in food and body issues, anxiety, depression and codependence. My passion is helping you build a healthy relationship with yourself and others based upon self-care, compassion, and self-love. In addition, I teach mindful eating workshops and classes to support you transform your relationship to food and your body.
