I have been working with children, adolescents, families, and adults for 20 years. I have worked in a mental health center setting, as well as, a large practice which implemented a team approach to care including psychiatrists, nurses, and psychotherapists. In both settings, I gained valuable experience in treating various disorders, as well as issues within families.
My focus is on teaching skills to adults, children/ adolescents and working with parents to reinforce those skills. Types of therapy utilized include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, behavior therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills. Treatment experience includes anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Relationships and Grief.
My office is located in an easily accessed area of Auburn on Glenn Ave., near the University as well as the Opelika area. The building and facilities are handicapped accessible, with convenient parking.
