Prior to entering the counseling field, I served as a NJ Registered Pharmacist (RPh). During this time, I obtained my Masters in Counseling from Montclair State & taught in that department for 3 years. For the next 20+ years, I served as Associate Director for The Willow Tree Center, an alcohol, tobacco and drug prevention & treatment agency. I am now in a private practice called Willow Tree Counseling Associates and provide services as a Licensed Professional Counselor and as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor.
I enjoy working with adults and couples, and doing Family Interventions for those worried about someone in denial of an addiction. I currently serve on the Morris County Mental Health & Addiction Services Advisory Board and the body that oversees Morris County Municipal Alliances on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
What makes my practice unique is that when working with couples, my wife of over 45 years joins me. She is also a master's level counselor with over 40 years experience. From my photo, you know that I have two small dogs who like to join me in sessions.

Parents Enduring Loss to Addiction (PELA)
In 2002, I began a support group for adults who have lost a child of any age to an addiction. The group is open so that people can join at any time. It is a warm and supportive gathering of people who know exactly what you're going through and will help you to cope.
