I work with individuals and couples seeking to understand and resolve issues that get in the way of a fulfilling life and satisfying personal relationships. Whether struggling with longstanding issues or recent life transitions, we may find ourselves locked into familiar but uncomfortable patterns that prevent us from engaging fully in our lives. My clients are primarily adults and older adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, mood disorders and self-esteem issues. Our work often involves exploring the impact of trauma, abuse, neglect or abandonment on our current sense of self and our relationships.
I work within a Relational Therapy framework, integrating Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based and Mind/Body practices with traditional talk therapy.
