Stephen Eller, MA, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor in Fort Worth
Is your child overwhelmed with stress or anxiety? Do you have a "threenager" on your hands? A troubled tween or teen? I offer therapy that is empowering, collaborative, and client-centered. My specialty is play therapy, and I also enjoy working with adolescents and teenagers. I am passionate about helping parents build deep connections with their kids that will empower children to be kind, brave, strong, resourceful and independent--and to break the patterns that keep them stuck. As a male play therapist, I am in a unique position to model a manhood that is compassionate, respectful, and trustworthy.
I especially enjoy working with underdogs: kids who have a hard time finding a place to belong, who are lonely or marginalized for whatever reason. My background prepares me to serve children with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, ADHD, peer and family relationship struggles, stress, behavioral issues, and poor self-concept.
I've worked in residential treatment center, private practice, and non-profit settings, where I've served children with mental health disorders, addictions, hallucinations, abuse, and severe childhood trauma. My unique background has helped me to establish a practice that is trauma-informed and compassionate. Find me at
