Leigh Anne Randa, PhD, Psychologist in Kansas City
Hello! My name is Dr. Leigh Anne Randa, PhD. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Kansas City, MO and owner of Friendly Psychology. I believe each of my clients is unique and deserves a personalized approach to treatment that honors their preferences and needs balanced with clinical expertise. My goal is to tailor interventions that work with the very real constraints of time and finances that exist in our hectic modern culture. I am experienced and happy to help you from single session brief intervention to long term treatment for serious mental health concerns.
With regard to diagnosed mental health issues, I specialize in depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD and related trauma disorders, grief and bereavement, and OCD. However I recognize that often we just need someone to reflect with, to help us change a perspective, or overcome an unhelpful belief about ourselves and our place in the world.
In additional to traditional therapy, I offer telehealth or "online" therapy where appropriate. I am certified and experienced in many therapies including CBT, Cognitive Processing for PTSD, Prolonged Exposure, Interpersonal Therapy for Depression, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, STAIR therapy for Complex PTSD, and EMDR. Please call today, and let's start improving your quality of life.
