My clinical training & experience has included Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, & other evidence-based treatments. I have expertise in the treatment of depression, anxiety, & emotion dysregulation. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, & adults who want to learn to manage intense emotions & build effective skills/relationships.
I was intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through Behavioral Tech, Marsha Linehan's Institute. Being mindful & fully engaged in the present, without judgment, is incorporated into my therapeutic approaches & used as a way of overcoming stress & adjustment challenges. By increasing awareness you can make sustainable changes in your life.
