I do not have current openings, but anticipate openings in the fall. My waitlist is full at this time. I seek to provide my clients with a confidential, safe, and caring space, one that offers the opportunity for enhanced insight for growth and change. Therapy is a place to be heard, accepted, and supported. I believe each person has the capacity to cope with and overcome the obstacles they face. Taking the time and doing the work to achieve a higher level of functioning is an investment. I work with career, workplace, academic stress, substance/alcohol abuse, acute/post-traumatic stress, medical illness, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and relationship and interpersonal conflict. I utilize a solution focused approach with CBT integrating psychodynamic theory and mindfulness.
I have worked as LICSW in the Emergency Department, ICU, Inpatient Medical/Surgical Units at Boston Children's Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and in the outpatient setting at Tufts Medical Center and Beth Israel Lahey Health. I provide consultation, short term crisis intervention, long term therapy with the goal of optimizing coping strategies.
