Additionally, I have many years of psychological assessment experience and provided supervision to doctoral students in clinical settings.
As a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.), I have trained in numerous techniques (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT, Psychoanalytic, Relational, Humanistic, Interpersonal, etc), and I individualize treatments based on the person's specific needs. I have also worked in many settings including: hospitals, counseling center, multi-doctoral offices, private practice, and have taught at many Universities.

Holiday Grief Group (Montgomery/Howard county)

This is an eight-week therapeutic group focused on issues of grief and mourning that may arise around the holidays. Group members will work toward understand their grief, working through their grief, and to better understand and cope with feelings and thoughts that arise with the holidays. The group offers a supportive environment where group members work on understanding and addressing change and growth. The group provides support that can be deeply felt. Interested persons may call for an initial screening with Dr. DiPaola. Free parking and easy access to office.
