Everyday I am humbled by working with those who have the courage to look in the mirror and work on themselves. I view psychotherapy as an opportunity for growth no matter where you are in your life; whether seeking support in a time of crisis, suffering from a mental illness, working on relationships, or you are simply curious about who you are and how your mind works. My treatment approach is rooted in psychodynamic and relational frameworks although I tailor my technique to each client. I value change beyond symptom resolution but also to increase self awareness and individual growth.
I view psychotherapy as a space for laughter, fun, creativity, and play as much as a place for tears and sorrow. You will find that I am not afraid to crack a joke or shed a tear and that I will be myself when I sit with you.
I enjoy working with people from different walks of life and have worked in various settings including community clinics, employee assistance, hospital, and college counseling. I have extensive experience in university counseling and expertise in campus sexual assault. Other areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, transitions, grief, and relationship difficulties.

This group offers a space for bereaved young adults and professionals to connect with each other, honor and remember their loved ones, and learn ways to process and navigate the complicated grief that occurs following a significant loss. Young adulthood is a developmental period that involves navigating change and transitions that bring up new forms of loss, even if the loss occurred earlier in life. This group will offer a supportive community to a those who share similar struggles and may feel alone in their experience of loss. Group meets the first and third Thursdays of every month from 7-8:15pm.

Such circumstances may bring up complicated feelings such as experience of ambiguous loss, anticipated grief, and navigating multiple roles (including continuing to live your own). This group offers support and connection around what can often feel like a very isolated experience. Self-care is essential to mental health as well as maintaining the ability to take care of those who are close to you.
