I understand that finding a therapist can be extremely anxiety provoking and difficult. This is why I hope to provide my clients with a non-judgmental and supportive environment that facilitates their ability to address presenting issues or concerns. During our sessions together, I will be utilizing a psychodynamic framework that focuses on revealing the unconscious and reoccurring patterns that prevent one from moving forward. Most of the clients on my caseload are considered to be high functioning individuals with underline symptoms of depression, trauma, PTSD, grief/loss, anxiety, ect.
Meaning that they can still go to work, attend school, engage with friends/loved ones, or still find the means to follow through with day to day activities. However, these individuals still find themselves struggling to find a deeper meaning to life or experiencing mental road blocks with getting over the past and moving forward.
Psychodynamic therapy is a long-term style of counseling that requires commitment. However, with this process I hope to provide my clients with long lasting, life-style changes that other styles may not offer. My experience as a therapist has enabled me to help make positive changes in people’s lives and I am privileged to be a part of that journey.
