Joseph Brigandi, NREMT, MS, MEd, NCC, LPC Intern in Dallas
I'm a counselor/psychotherapist and I specialize in three things, #1, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, #2, Youth and Adolescent Self-Harm, and # 3, Group, Couples & Family Therapy. I'm certified in (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. My passion for working with people experiencing post traumatic stress came as a result of my own experiences as an EMT and Paramedic during my career in emergency medicine serving as a first responder in Arizona, California and Texas currently nearing thirty years of service. I believe in a collaborative approach & I consider myself a partner in your health and wellness.
We offer many exciting educational programs, workshops and group therapy topics and sessions that are led by experienced clinicians and educators who know how to create a nurturing, yet challenging environment to assist your growth and progress in mastering both personal and professional challenges.
At my core I believe in using a psycho-educational approach in all of our programs, meaning we take the mystery out of the illness or issue you're facing clearing up common misconceptions and misunderstandings better enabling you to bring meaningful solutions and closure to the issues.
