As a specialist in the area of OCD and anxiety-related disorders, I am skilled at working with patients who are suffering from all types of anxiety, and I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and exposure-based interventions to treat OCD and related disorders (such as hair pulling and skin picking) and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. My other areas of specialty include Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Specific Phobia (e.g., fear of spiders, heights). I provide a safe, trusting environment in which kids, teens, and adults can feel comfortable and confident in their abilities to reach their goals.
My treatment approach is based primarily on CBT, and I incorporate exposure-based interventions to help individuals directly confront and conquer their fears. I have received extensive training through the International OCD Foundation, TLC Foundation, and Anxiety and Depression Assn, and I participate in conferences and advanced trainings on a regular basis.
The treatment team at OCD & Anxiety Solutions offers highly specialized and individualized treatments for a variety of anxiety-related problems.
