Hello, I am a licensed Holistic Counselor specializing in the treatment of stress reduction, relationship discord, substance abuse, and trauma. As a Holistic Counselor my focus is on "wholeness" or treating the whole person. I am a trusted, genuine therapist that focusses on creating a "sacred, safe place" that allows for a healing environment. I have many years of professional and life experience that allows me to be open minded, non judgemental and caring. My integrative approach allows for a therapeutic process that supports an individuals ability to tap into their innate wisdom and understand what they need in order to heal.
As a Holistic Counselor my focus is on stress reduction as stress is the number one contributor to disease whether it be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Stress generally shows up as a symptom of disconnect. The disconnect may manifest as a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual symptom.
Symptoms of illness may appear when there is stress on the body, mind, emotions or spirit due to; Trauma of any kind, Addiction, Separation from one's True Self, Abandonment or Inter-personal relationship differences. Stress reduction techniques include but are not limited to; Talk Therapy, Mindfulness-based therapy and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
