Michelle Rogers, MSW, CADC, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Elgin
I believe therapy should offer a safe place of acceptance, compassion, understanding, and challenge. I meet my client where they are and walk with them from a place of hurt, despair, or confusion to a place of understanding, healing and wholeness. Based on your needs and goals, we will explore practical solutions to specific problems and changed unwanted behaviors and clarify goals. My experience includes working with substance abuse/addictions, depression, anxiety, trauma, loss/grief, anger management, stress, and more.
I am a certified alcohol and drug counselor. I embrace an eclectic and holistic approach when working with my clients. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused therapy to meet the needs of each client.
While change can be difficult, my goal is to help you discover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. I offer a non-judgmental and compassionate environment. I believe the desire to change is never too late. I have both day and evening appointments available.
