Through a collaborative relationship, I will assist my client in reaching realistic and attainable goals. Through healthy coping skills they will learn to better handle life's everyday stressors. I understand that the decision to pursue therapy can be a difficult process. It is my goal to provide a safe place for my clients so that they may bring out the best in themselves.
While I have worked with a variety of populations throughout my career, I specialize in working with children, adolescents and young adults. I primarily focus on clients who struggle with self-esteem issues, relationship issues, anger management, stress management, and other various behavioral health issues.
My experience has enabled me to utilize various theories and therapeutic techniques based on the individual need of the client. I also feel that trust is a key element in a therapeutic relationship. Therefore, I will work to create an environment that the client feels understood and respected.
