I am a clinical psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at NYU Langone Health and clinical assistant professor at NYU School of Medicine. My expertise is in treating anxiety and related disorders (PTSD, OCD, insomnia, ADHD/executive dysfunction). I have clinical and research experience at hospitals throughout the NYC area and I have completed specialized internships and fellowships. My patients often report feeling more relaxed, less afraid, having improved relationships, and increased life satisfaction at the end of therapy.
I practice Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a short-term, skills-based approach to therapy. We collaboratively assess the problem, set goals, and accomplish them together. I see patients for individual psychotherapy as well as group psychotherapy. I run CBT skills groups to improve Executive Functioning/ADHD as well as stress, anxiety, and mood.
Recently I became authorized to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology through the PSYPACT commission, which allows me to see patients virtually in the majority of states.
