My passion is to support, encourage and empower my clients to make necessary changes to improve their lives, and to cultivate a strong therapeutic relationship providing the necessary support to make those changes happen. I utilize psycho-education, Animal Assisted Interventions, Art/Expressive therapy, Narrative Therapy, Brief, Solution-Focused, Strengths Based & ecotherapy as primary modalities in my practice, but always customize treatment based on personal preferences.
I work with teens, young adults and adults who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and sexual trauma, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and Grief/Bereavement. I work to ensure that each of my clients feels safe, validated, empowered and honored in our work together.
As Founder & Director of the Loving Paws Animal Therapy Program, I believe in the healing power of the human-animal bond, and I incorporate certified therapy dogs in my practice to support positive client interactions, the creation of a calm and welcoming space and overall emotional well-being for my clients.
