There are times in our lives where we feel overwhelmed and are experiencing emotional distress for a variety of reasons. Working with a therapist can help with addressing these difficulties and finding the right tools to assist and move forward in life. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. Coping with traumatic experiences can lead to many difficult paths, including struggles with: anxiety, depression, panic attacks, nightmares, fear, poor self-worth, addictions, physical pain, difficult relationship dynamics, safety issues, and negative thoughts.
I bring a holistic perspective (treating the whole person) to my practice; looking at what helps people survive, heal, grow and thrive, beyond trauma. I encourage clients to explore how their experiences have shaped how they cope and how they view themselves, the world, and their relationships. Gaining awareness and understanding is key to growth and change.
Most of us want to feel balanced . Life is full of demands that can make it challenging to care for ourselves in an effective and consistent way.
