For over thirty years, I have been helping couples develop stronger and more intimate relationships. If it feels like walls have developed that are keeping you from being able to talk to your partner or to fully enjoy your relationship, then couples therapy can help. Together, we will come to understand what is getting in the way of connection and develop strategies and solutions for changing how you and your partner communicate. Conflicts in a relationship are natural yet they can create distance if not handled skillfully. Therapy will help you to learn ways of managing conflict that create closeness.
Being a couples therapist requires skills not often taught in graduate school, so I have pursued advanced training in couples therapy. My style is active and direct. I am flexible about how often we will meet and my goal is to help you as quickly and as effectively as possible.
Learning to improve your relationship and feel more connected to your partner is a challenge worth taking. Couples therapy can help you experience greater respect, affection and closeness if both of you are willing to work at it. Take a look at my website, www.supportforcouples.com, for more information.
