Life is full of never ending change and unexpected challenges leaving us filled with overwhelm and an invitation to leave our comfort zone. I view therapy as a unique space to explore painful feelings, relationships, and what might not be working so well for you anymore. I value helping my clients establish a deeper understanding about what brings them in, earlier life experiences and their hopes for the future. I may incorporate mindfulness to help deal with stress, and enhance self-care. My style is compassionate and views you as the expert in your own life possessing many strengths that will help guide this process.
My areas of interest include working with adults who wish to have more fulfilling relationships, overcome difficult life transitions, and cope better with depression and anxiety. I have committed myself to deepening my understanding of what it means to have a trauma informed practice. I recognize the pain and grief that is woven into all of these concerns.
Seeking therapy can feel daunting, like you should have figured things out by now and while I can't promise to have the magic answer I can promise to meet you where you are at so we can work together to find answers to happier relationships and a stronger sense of self.
