My professional belief is that beginning psychotherapy is like embarking on a "Hero's Journey". Clients brave facing their fears in a safe, secure environment in order to create the lives they want to live. Many times, I meet clients who think that therapy is about fixing what is "wrong" with them. I believe, however, that therapy is really more about fostering clients' ability to connect with what is "right" with them. I support people in fully embracing who and what they really are - without fears. It would be my privilege to be your guide on this journey.
I work with 1) adults around anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and parenting: 2) young children in play therapy; and 3) couples.- either hoping to enhance their current relationship, or divorcing with hopes of creating an ongoing healthy co-parenting relationship
I also am certified in the EAGALA model of equine assisted psychotherapy: an adventure in itself. Sometimes an equine experience is worth "more than 1000 words".
