As a therapist with experience in substance abuse and addiction, I specialize in working with adults experiencing active addiction and early recovery from addiction, as well as family members and loved ones who are affected by someone's drinking or substance use. In addition to these areas, I also help people experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Men's Issues, Anger Management, and other Interpersonal Issues.
I approach work with clients from a mindfulness-based perspective in order to process difficult emotions. This can help with identifying unwanted patterns, communication with partners, and regaining stability in your life. I am also passionate about incorporating Internal Family Systems to promote acceptance towards the various parts in a client's psyche.
I provide all clients with a safe and non-judgmental space. I believe in working towards acceptance of the self and incorporate this value in my work. In addition to meeting clients in Atlanta, I am also available for sessions online through a private, HIPAA-compliant TeleMental Health platform.
